Founded in 2016, Le Sex Lab conducts work on the intersecton between contempory art and sexuality. In this work, it is dedicated to communiting the principle conditions of human interaction, not only in visual form but through underlying thoughts, feelings and actions. A multidisciplinary media hub, the lab draws on, and reconcepts the boundaries between media, history and creativity.
The lab draws from a number of fields, including comparative literature, art historical studies, classical anthropology, sociology, photography and theater. Partners include artists, editors, producers, filmmakers, and media organizations to connect the conversation about representations of sexuality to a holistic perspective.
